sorry for the late reply. This is not a bug because it is not possible to redirect to a wildcard domain. You have to have a target. Just add a domain name in the 'Domains' box to your wildcard domain. This non-wildcard domain is used as target of the HTTP to HTTPS redirect.

it's not possible to add just a domain name in the Domains box. There, I must use a certificate. Our customers don't buy an additional certificate if they have bought a wildcard certificate.

I don't understand why this should not work. All our TMG customers need this feature, if they think about a replacement.

Forgive me as I am not really familiar with this feature.

From what I understand, wildcard certificates are perfectly acceptable, but the Domains field must have at least one non-wildcard domain listed.

After you select the wildcard certificate the "Domains" field has the wildcard domain in it.  Click plus and then enter in a proper domain name.
