Voucher Customization

Hello BETA testers,

we are still struggling with certain PDF types with our Voucher customization feature. Therefore we would like to ask you to generate Vouchers and test them.

Please fill out the form and upload the PDF in case a failure occured, so we can fix it and generate a knowledge base article with supported programs and tools.

UTM Version: 9.185-3

Program or tool and version you used to generate the PDF: LibreOffice 4.1.3.2

Status: Partly Working

The PDF gets accepted and everything but gets translated to the correct values. In stead of a QR-code I just see .
When I restore default, the QR-code image does get printed on the vouchers.

Hi qawa,
thanks for reporting. Word 2010 support will come with 9.190, but you should replace the "$" with a "?" for the QR code.

Status: Partly Working

Just installed 9.190 and see that the QR-code is now also printed.
Still used my previous Libreoffice created document.

I now wanted to change this a bit, so the variables would be printed in bold text, but when making these texts bold and saving as a PDF, only some of the characters are still showing on the vouchers while others are completely gone.

If you use a different font (or a different version of a font, like a bold one), you have to make sure the characters for the replaced variables are available in the PDF document. To enforce this, you can embed a string in the other font in your document.

@reinerh: This does show the missing characters however it also shows the whole string whereas this was hidden before.

Here it is.
Tried some different things like just adding a second line exactly the same as the first but with everything bold, but that does the same.
