[9.171] Web protection Standard SSO

Hi!
I just want to check if standard proxy with SSO AD authentication will fall back to basic authentication if logged in user is not domain user (local account or guest computer/user). According to my tests user is allowed to browse according to policy, but is not authenticated. There is no login pop up in browser. It is only possible to use "block if authentication fails" option, but I want to authenticate guest users to allow them access the internet - basic or browser authentication. Any advise how to configure this kind of authentication?

    To confirm - you are using Standard Mode.  You have only one profile.
    Lets say you have AD SSO and you have "Block on auth failure" checked.
    You try and use a computer that is not on the domain.

    What happens?  What does the user see?  What is in the Web Protection log?  Is it the same for all browsers?


    What should happen is that you get a browser pop asking for credentials.  If you don't get this then most likely there is something odd about your setup or configuration.  Let me know what OS/browser, screenshots of config screens, etc.  Or PM me for WebAdmin and SSH access.
