[9.165][ANSWERED] PPPoE- Can someone expand on this known issue item?

[29047] PPPoE interfaces don't come up sometimes

Can someone detail in what situations, configurations this is an issue?  While we (my company) has a test instance or two spun up, I like to test on my home installation as well, and it's running on old AT&T PPPOE DSL... if the issues aren't severe or don't apply to this type of setup, I'd like to know.

    Alan is right. We noticed this issue with an internal PPPoE server which provided its own IP address to the client. This could happen after a reconnect or a reboot. Our setup was a UTM with several PPPoE interfaces and Uplink Balancing. 
    As a result none of default routes are written and the interfaces are in the error state.
    So it's nothing to worry about. You shouldn't get such an IP address on your PPPoE interface normally.

    Yeah so far, the PPPOE interface has not been an issue since I installed it on the one ADSL system I maintain.
