9.106-17 with existing configuration updated to Beta 9.165-015 (no new installation).
i have found the problem. i get no notification messages and hotspot passwords,
because after update to Beta my smarthost settings are empty.
if i look in the SMTP logfiles, before updating the e-mail go over smarthost,
after updating not. so the e-mail will be rejected. Now i have insert the
smarthost settings again and e-mail notification messages and hotspot
passwords works again.
I just made an update from 9.106-17 to 9.165-15 with configured smarthost settings, both for the notifications as well as for the smtp proxy. Both settings were still there after update and notifications were sent as expected. Can you reproduce it by going back to 9.106 installing your backup and do the update again?
