There has been some confusion (at least on my part) on httpproxy crashes. I've just gone through all the history of the posts that I can find, I hope this summary brings some clarity.
Mantis 24545 was for a httpproxy segfault. I think this segfault is not related to the problems in this thread. This was fixed in 9.080.
Mantis 24438 is for a httpproxy segfault within libssl. This has been fixed and will be in the next beta refresh. Workarounds: This is a problem within SSL scanning so unchecking "Scan HTTPS (SSL) Traffic" will mean it don't occur. There is also some indication that using Chrome will not have this problem. Reference: httpproxy[5538]: segfault at 20 ip 00000000f6609e56 sp 00000000f006cc30 error 4 in libssl.so.1.0.0[[f73ad000+5c000]
There are no other httpproxy segfaults that I know of. If anyone is running 9.090 and encounters a httpproxy segfault that is not in libssl please create a new thread.
