[9.080][OPEN] POP3 proxy, no browse for network object button

Hi,

in the pop3 proxy under advanced -> POP3 servers and prefetch settings there's no way to select an existing pop3 server. You can only add new ones. The ones created here are created as network objects and viewable under definitions -> network definitions, but in the prefetch screen itself you are unable to browse for these objects since the 'browse' button is missing.

Also, why is there a search field. Such a field isn't used anywhere else in WebAdmin.

Same issue on MAC Mountain Lion using FF 19.0.2

Doesn't seem to be a browser issue, but a UI discrepancy with other UI elements.

Hi there,

I find it odd that you guys didn't see the "Search" in POP3 feature, in older versions (ex: 9.004). It was always there. I agree there should be the option to choose from a list of defined POP3 servers. The replay i got from developer was they will not change it for now, so unfortunately there will not be a change for this in 9.1.

Hi Bianca,

I noticed it earlier, but last week I had to recreate the proxy config and noticed again that the browse button was missing, not a big deal but since it's still missing I though it's about time to report it. Sometimes you only notice that things are a bit strange when you actually use them [:)]

Hi Bianca,
let us redfine this bug. Search doesn't work on a MAC Mountain Lion ff 20.0.0
Type in "mail" and click on the magnifying glass, nothing happens.

Hi Ian,

Just checked on FF 20 and Chrome under Ubuntu and search works automatically without you having to press on anything. In my opinion, the only useful thing about this field is just to check if certain server is in the POP3 Server list. If you delete a server from list then the search wont display anything.
The Search does not look into the Netw Def->DNS Groups, in which the DNS Server Name is created, but only looks in the list below.

I have to agree with you that box is a waste of space and even more useless because it took somebody time to write it and then test it.
