Too many authentication attempts by users can result in loss of access to the internet over web security proxy.
Found this by accident as my google chrome browser has an automatic login attempt being made to my gmail account. Unfortunately this is intercepted by the proxy authentication prompt (Using Basic authentication with Standard mode) as a password attempt and ended up blocking access for too many password guess attempts from a single IP.
Perhaps should also note my system appears to be missing the Security tab under Management>>Webadmin Settings that was present in 9.005 versions which prevents changing the authentication attempts or do not block networks
