[9.075][ANSWERED] QOS Upload throttling?

If you apply throttling to your internal interfaces, the upload would be throttled. I discuss the throttling feature in this post https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/80/t/65006. But if your traffic is natted, you may run into problems when using source /destination address feature and may have to write individual rules for all IPs.

thanks for the reply. How do I throttle upload bandwidth on certain ip addresses or ip range. For example, 192.168.1.2 thru .10 will be unthrottled or uncapped while .11 thru .20 will be throttled or capped for upload speed?

Hi bbjunkie,

You can throttle certain IP address in the following way:
-> Go to Qos-Traffic Selector . Define your traffic selector and use as a Source for example a Network Group (as type). Click on add members and choose as network definition type range. 
-> Select your bounding interface and then you can define the Download Throttling rule, to use the traffic selector you just defined above. 
Tested and works accordingly.
