[9.075][NOTABUG] unable to initialize libusb

Evening everyone!

I performed an upgraded in the web GUI from 9.60 to 9.075. After the reboot, I noticed the following message on the boot screen:


acpid: 1 client rule loaded



unable to initialize libusb:  -99

unable to initialize libusb:  -99



:: Starting Configuration daemon

:: Starting Confd request queuing daemon

I then tried a fresh install of 9.075 in another VM and the same messages appeared. I'm running UTM as a virtual machine under Hyper-V in bridged mode. If you need me to post other logs, let me know. Thanks.

Do you have any USB controllers attached/ enabled in your vm. If not, then I think that is what causes the error. I get the same error in my esxi vm but I don't have any USB controllers attached and therefore considered this as a hardware mis-configuration problem and not a software (astaro) problem.

Looks like you're right. I went through the hardware settings of the VM and I did not see a USB controller.

Thanks to whoever changed the title to [NOTABUG]. I was looking through the edit post options for a way to do it myself but couldn't find one. [:)]

FYI, it's
Edit -> Go Advanced

You can then edit your title.
