[9.070][ANSWERED] Client Connection to OpenVPN Server

I've been trying to use the bash script ovpn-to-apc.sh to create a .apc file from a .ovpn file, so I can create a client connection to an OpenVPN server. I can't get it working, apparently due to the format of the .apc file that the script is creating. When I try to import the .apc file, utm says says "config package is corrupt".

There was a response to my post in the vpn section that this problem may be fixed in 9.1. Would someone please clarify if the utm 9.1 beta can import a .ovpn file?

    Sorry, SSL VPN site-to-site is only supported between UTMs officially.
    As far as I know there are no plans to change this.

    I'm disappointed and frankly amazed to hear this. Since utm uses OpenVPN, it should be a no-brainer for this to be supported, considering there should be no compatibility issues.

    I would be very interested to hear how the product manager justifies not including a feature that would be trivial to implement, when so many people have asked for it and when it is such an obvious thing to do. I would think that such a decision is counter to the intention of the OpenVPN developers (i.e., to develop an open solution, only to have sophos build a wall around it, preventing end-users from utilizing it in the intended manner), and it is certainly counter to the spirit of open source development.

    If sophos will not support this, please provide a documented template for an apc file so I can attempt to fix the ovpn-to-apc.sh script and get this working.
