[9.070][ANSWERED] WebProtection bypass Country Blocking

Hi Olsi,

Country blocking only applies to Firewall rules. It does not work when you are using an HTTP proxy. Your HTTP proxy configuration has a higher priority then the packet filter rules so the traffic will bypass these rules.
This is a known correct behavior. For now country blocking is not implemented in Web Protection.

I had exception URL Filtering checked
When it is unchecked Country Blocking takes precedence
Should be CLOSED this threat? Because in version 8.3 Country Blocking had the first precedence from all other services in Astaro

I was wrong regarding country blocking with Web Protection. The traffic from/to these countries is blocked even if you use http proxy. I tested it too and i get the Content blocked.
