WAF: New behavior choices for handling of unscannable archives

IPSec: Add GCM and CTR ciphers
You can now choose AES + GCM or AES + CTR as encryption algorithms im addition to the existing AES + HMAC ciphers. AES + GCM was measurably faster in our performance tests on current Intel processors than AES + HMAC.

    After installing the Up2date my data partition usage decreased from 80% to 45%.

    Are we able to manage UTM endpoint clients that were installed with UTM 9 with this release now?

    Not just yet. We still await a large update for the client to be pushed, from there you will then be able to update the clients to the version included with 9.1 and they will work. (Clients must/will update with new releases to make use of the new features and work properly of course)

    1) The Unified DHCP Mappings/DNS Mappings has had further ergonomic changes and should now be much clearer.

    Thank you Angelo, hopefull it's sooner rather than later.  Question though, if we upgrade to 9.1 now (been waiting for the endpoint management stuff) do we permanently break our existing clients and have to reinstall them?  I don't mind temporarily losing central control of a few for a week or so, but don't want to have to reinstall a bunch if avoidable.

    Awesome news!  I'm curious to see the changes made to the DHCP/DNS mappings.  Will try to upgrade this weekend.

    You won't need to uninstall clients in the final GA release (or indeed in a future beta) but for right now that process isn't quite production ready. Hence the warning to hold off if you have clients in production as they won't update correctly, use a new broker server, and thus appear disconnected in your UTM. You can test them by manually uninstalling the client and re-installing it from a 9.1 install, but that wont be the final behaviour and we don't like to get too many people doing that for fear that they will THINK that is how we designed it [;)]

    On Endpoint in 9.070 as an update from one of the Pit Fighters in our Dev Team:

    "As of 9.070 and a recent update to the Endpoint that you get when you download from the link provide by the UTM, Endpoint is now fully supported in the Beta.
    The main reason that it was not supported until recently was because of these upgrade issues. These have been resolved.

    The following is supported:
    ==Release==
    9.0 Endpoints talking to 9.0 UTMs = current production
    9.0 Endpoints talking to 9.1 Release UTMs = Should work (after 9.1 is released)
    9.1 Endpoints talking to 9.1 Release UTMs = Should work (after 9.1 is released)
    ==Beta==
    9.0 Endpoints talking to 9.1 Beta UTMs = Not supported
    9.1 Beta Endpoints talking to 9.1 Beta UTMs = Supported, you must install beta EP manually
    ==Upgrade==
    9.0 Endpoints upgrade to 9.1 Beta Endpoints = You must install beta EP manually
    9.0 Endpoints upgrade to 9.1 Release Endpoints = Should work (after 9.1 is released)

    In other words - if you want to use Endpoints during beta you must reinstall with a 9.1 beta Endpoint. However if you do that you won't have to reinstall the 9.1 release endpoint. To state it another way - the only way to use the beta (UTM or EP) is to explicitly install it, you cannot get from release to beta without a manual install. But don't worry, after it is released going from the beta back into release should be painless."

    "Painless" until next Beta [:@] I for myself didn't install the Beta at home at all exactly because of this issue. Well, that makes no bug reports from me this time (which is a good thing because now there is more for the forum users to find - or not).
