[9.065][CLOSED] 3G USB Modem causing UTM to loose connectivity

Just installed UTM 9.065. 

When I start the UTM with a 3G USB modem, it has no connectivity. The only way to access UTM is by connecting to the console directly (with a keyboard and display attached).

Without a 3G USB modem, things are working well.

Any ideas?

BTW: It isn't caused by a kernel panic. Also everything seems normal when the issue occurs, except - as said earlier - I don't have any form of connectivity via the network interfaces.

    Can you please describe your network setup? 
    Our setup here works fine using 3G with defaultgw. Internal network is still reachable.


    Hmm, a reinstall solved the problem. However, my Huawei K3770 doesn't connect. The interface stays down. In UTM9, it worked.

    Do you still have issues with your 3G modem? The modem I did a test with is Huawei E169 and it connected successfully to the network (only set the APN and the PIN in the interface configuration). Also when i enabled DGW on this interface I have access to the internal interface (Webadmin). 
    Please check the /var/log/pppd.log for information about the initial network entry of your dongle. If there are any issues you should see them there. if not please attach the log file to the thread.
    Also, you could check if the stick actually works (if is ok from HW point of view/ if the credentials are correct) by connecting it to another machine.

    I will test it this afternoon, thank you. The USB and loosing connectivity appears after importing the backup from my V9 machine when I decided to beta-test. BTW; A ZTE MF190 dongle worked without a hitch...
