[9.060][MYTH] Automatic firewall rules not showing up

Hi Sven,
possibly means you haven't created any rules. Mine dropped down with a pink background and not many rules. I would have thought there would be a number of rules for this report, generated for likes of application control?

if you look at bottam of normal  firewall  rule (in advanced) there is   MAC Addresse that is none ,i dont know what is use of if and how to use it  ... any idea  on that ?

Hi Sven,

I am able to choose from pulldown menu within firewall rules section. But the rules window below stays empty.

In order for the Automatic Firewall rules to appear, you have to create first, for example, a NAT-> New NAT Rule, and select the Automatic Firewall rule checkbox. This checkbox is also available in Server Load Balancing.

I would have thought there would be a number of rules for this report, generated for likes of application control?

Ian, as stated above, this is only available in NAT, Server Load Balancing, Site2Site VPN and Remote Access. It is not used for application control.
