Firewall Rules not deploying

I am trying to deploy firewall rule sets out to my two firewalls from SUM 4.2 Beta

The UTMs are 9.2 and everything seems connected correctly.  Definitions automatically deploy.

When I deploy a ruleset, it appears to deploy ("The ruleset has been sucessfully set on the selected devices")

However, the rules don't show on the device and the rules are also not active (traffic is not passed based on the rules that are deployed).

How can I diagnose this issue?

    Hey Lynn,

    did you enable the firewall rulesets on the SUM? What exact versions (of both UTM and SUM) do you use? Do you have some or all of the rules in the ruleset already deployed?

    To debug your issue you can look at the log files. You should see a successful deployment on the UTM in the file /var/log/confd-debug.log. But the log files on the SUM are not showing appropriate information by default. If neccessary you could activate a chatty debug mode but there would be a lot of other bloat in the logfile. The search for the right information might feel like searching a needle in a haystack. So I would suggest we try to diagnose it first without the gabby logfile.
