welcome to the Beta of SUM 4.2. This thread contains an overview about the known
issues with the current beta version:
- long post with full details to each and every known issues
- short post, that just lists the issues topic with the respective mantis id
The info will be automatically updated on a daily basis, so you can
see new issues that have come up since the previous beta release, and
the status of these issues.
Furthermore, I would like to give you a more detailed information to three of
the mentioned ids, i.e 30878, 30980 and 31063. These ids implement features
for the Device Agent that runs on the UTM and communicates with SUM. These
features are going to be released along with UTM 9.201. Therefore, some of the
new features in SUM are going to fully work with UTM 9.201:
- IPv6 Support for network objects. On the SUM you can create network objects
that contain an IPv6 address and netmask. You can also deploy them. But on
the UTM, they will appear without the IPv6 attributes. This is going to work correctly
with UTM 9.201.
- Importing network objects from the UTM are going to fail with the error message:
"syntactic object verification failed".
This is going to work correctly with UTM 9.201.
- Ipsec tunnels in SUM now support the parameters:
- Bind Tunnel to Local Interface
- Support Path MTU discovery
- Support congestion signaling (ECN)
- Enable XAUTH client mode
But on the UTM the options are not taken with 9.200.
This is going to be possible with UTM 9.201.
- Importing ipsec policies are failing if they contain the value SHA1 for
IKE authentication algorithm with the error message:
"syntactic object verification failed".
This is going to work correctly with UTM 9.201.
