Looking at the Global Activity Feed, the dates are in US format. This is when I hover on an event. I am in Europe so I want the dates in European format.
I'm not sure what you mean: when I hover on an event, I see dates formatted like "13 April 2013 06:35:22 BST". In the US or Canada, people would typically expect to see that written as "April 13, 2013 06:35:22 BST". They probably would want a 12-hour clock with am/pm, too. Today, we do no locale-aware date formatting, so they'll see exactly what you see, although translated to whatever timezone they're using.
