[1.0][CLOSED] Where do users come from?

I created a new policy and noticed there were 2 users that I could assign to...but my machine only has 1 user. It is a VM but the host doesn't have the other account either. The other account even has an email address associated with it and that account has actually been defunct now for about 2 years.

Where does it pull the users and user information from?

Hi Kim,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I will try answering your question as good as I can. The users you can assign to policies are those which you created yourself in Settings - Manage Users, there you can also assign e-mail addresses to the users (Andreas already posted the basic ideas behind our user concept. here ).
If you mean the assignment in the Settings - Login Tab, the users from your machine (e.g. testvm\user) you see there is the one which was used to install the client.
