General

• Help button could be more obvious
  
• Help search font color is so close to the search background colour you can't see the text you type.
  

I concur and will recommend to the ui guys to improve the help button.
The search font color is fixed in the actual beta release running at the moment (i guess you saw that on one of the previous releases).

• Exclusions input box feedback is non-helpful
  
• More accessible examples would be helpful. Although we don't want our customers to set exclusions there will be software or FPs even that require it.
  
• Excluding remote files is not included in the exclusions section. This could put unnecessary load on an localized file stores, and should be an option.
  
•  Help file exclusions are incorrect:
  C:\programdata\adobe\photoshop
  D:\
  *.vm*  

I think the whole exclusions sections is pretty unclear and needs an overhaul, but this is already known and tracked as Mantis #23776.
A Dev told me that excluding remote paths is the default of SAV policies, so this is omitted for simplicity. 

Device Control

• Monitor mode check box is unclear which types of devices will be monitor. Even the help seem unclear "...all sorts of devices...". Choosing types of devices to monitor would elminate unneccessary/confusing data in reports.
  

At the moment it is only possible to monitor all device types. I will suggest that the help text is changed to clarify this and also that options to monitor only specific device types are added in the future.
