Some of the devices sent out for the closed BETA have wrong stickers attached. That means that the devices have a different RED ID and MAC address internally than what is advertised on the stickers.
If you have trouble connecting your devices, please do the following:
1) Find out the MAC address of the WAN port. The easiest way is to check the leases of the DHCP server you use when the RED has picked up an IP address. The RED MACs will always look like "00:1a:8c:01:XX:YY" (only the last two bytes vary).
2) Compare the MAC you found with the MAC on the sticker on the bottom of the device. If it matches, you are not affected by this problem. If you still have trouble using the device please open another thread.
3) If the MAC does not match the sticker, please post the MAC you found in this thread, and we will send you the corrected RED ID and unlock code by PM.
