Question about your Copernicus experience?

Hello All - for those of you that have worked with Copernicus, might you be willing to tell me about your experience so far?

I'd love to but so far I cant get it to install on a new HP ML10 V2. I've been getting the same error as a few other people where the installer instantly fails saying can't open ISO

If you can point me in the right direction for getting this sorted I'd gladly tell you about my future experiences with it. At the moment I have had to revert to my old box running UTM until I can get this sorted. The new one is sat there burning to be powered up.

Did you try to burn the iso on a normal usb stick using windiskimager32 ?

Yes, I also tried Rufus, ImageUSB from passmark using different memory sticks and mounting the ISO through iLO. I was hoping not having to physically connect a CD drive to test that as well.

It just doesn't seem to like this machine so far.

Hi Ben83,
I sent an email to Michelle too. I wrote bad things about Copernicus and what they should change. Anyway give her a time to collect all the information and to reply us back in few weeks. We need to appreciate the time they are spending to collect feedback and report them back to develops and managers.

All of Astaro.org people hope Sophos will think about that they need to change a lot of things otherwise most of them will choose another UTM product. UTM9 rocks and it easy to use but there are some limitation too (cli does not exist for example). I love UTM9 but maybe there are pointing to become more competitive on large installation and maybe Copernicus can provide better performance, protection and so on. All of us agree that UI is terrible and useless.

I worked in the past with other vendors and they are so shut and do not listen to community (emailing is even worst).

Finger crossed. We will see and pray at the same time that they are going to impress us with next release.

We will keep feedbacking to Sophos using this community. Feedback and comparisons increase life's knowledge and Copernicus too. [[[;)]]][[[;)]]][[[;)]]]
