[ANSWERED] Running Copernicus VA parallel to production 9.3

Can you run copernicus as "drop-in" parallel on same network as a production 9.3.  

I would like to see the reporting features in action.

    The TAP port on SFOS is in promiscuous mode.  As such, it will accept all packets that arrive on the interface and 'process' them.

    Within a VM environment, you'll need to enable promiscuous mode on the virtual interface thats sustains your TAP interface...  Have not tested this on vSphere 4.1; and thinking about it, I'm not even sure vSphere v4.1 will be supported... perhaps later versions of 4, 5 and 5.1 and hopefully 6...   let's wait for a PM to answer that.
