UTM9 was releasing periodic update for the firmware and the base OS remain  same so change log make sense in that approach as your base OS is not changing.

Where in Copernicus Firmware is it self is a separate OS and periodic update of firmware ( apart of on the air fix which should be very less) will not be there.  All the firmware release will be a separate OS for system and change log doesn't make sense in this approach . 

System is capable to store 2 separate firmware at a time.

There will be release note and upgrade procedure available with each firmware release.

"Air fix" meaning "SFOS Hot-Fix" in System > Administration > Firmware?

Yes Release note will have all required detail information and it will be available for GA release of SFOSv1. 

Yes Air Fix is SFOF Hot-fix witch will applied on system automatically when it turn on.

I don't understand... What you are saying is if we need a dns daemon upgrade there will be a full firmware upgrade 300MB download instead of a 20MB patch?

Individual updates are bigger, but you can now rollback if you have a problem, and when you go from the equivalent of 9.214 to 9.315, it's one install that takes a couple minutes, rather than 16 updated that take 20 minutes. So there are some nice. Trade offs for the increase in size. Also, most updates are already up around 100MB to 200MB, so they're not ridiculously bigger in Copernicus.

Rollback isn't automatic. If you upgrade, and find some problem you can't explain, or for whatever reason, you decide you need to revert to the previous firmware, you can do that. Logs are preserved, so logs needed for troubleshooting will still be there.
