[ANSWERED] Support and installtion on KVM

Hello , 


Presently i am using utm9.3 on kvm and on same system i am trying to configure copernicus  beta 2 but i am not able to get gui 

i am using linux bridge interface on host and pci-passthrough for 1 interface 

can some one please help me to understand configuration and/or installtion part on kvm 
I also wanted to know  1)which host version is supported 
                                   2) how much ram i should use 
                                    3)which type of interface i should use 

last beta also i was able to install but stuck at same point now i am thinking 
  " which process i am doing wrongly "

in ubuntu linux i am using bridge ( br0 with stp)

    Today ,i spend some honest time to install ,and i was able to installed it on another system but i have now couple of questions after installation 

    1)do i really require 65 gb hardisk space on kvm ?
    2)now i am facing practical problem with wan interface 
    (my isp has give me static ip but he has done mac/ip binding to interface ) in that case how i will able to change (portb) to wan 
    3)can i can wan port while installation as utm was

    edit : now my interface with wan ip crashed into Dmz interface

    edit2(21-9): i installed another copernicus guest with just 2 interface i virtual and 1 pci-passthroguth for wan but not able to register device but able to ping from copernicus terminal to any domain

    1. It will not install with anything less than 60gb disk and 1gb ram. Although 1gb ram is unrealistic. It works surprisingly good at 2gb compared to the UTM9 but you may have to bump it to 4gb if your load is heavy.

    2. Setup your interfaces exactly like you did in the UTM. I don't use kvm so don't know the specifics.

    3. Dont understand the question. But both interfaces will have to be active otherwise copernicus will go in failsafe mode.

    When registering, make sure you are not using popup blockers. The register button should pop up a new window that lets you register and then activate. If it fails, logout completely and keep retrying till it works. You may want to look at the log files if you are unsuccessful after a couple of tries and check the registeration thread on top.

    Hope this gets you going.

    I was able to install on 2 system but i want to go through proper configuration other wise it will be like blind people hugging/ judging elephant

    3rd question was while installation utm in wizard you can define which interface can be configure for wan in Copernicus  it was fix 

    i see many man  bug i  am not reporting none of them due to validating a system [:)]
