[QUESTION] Contextual Log Reading

Hi all,

Either i'm going mad or i'm definitely going to need those glasses very soon as I can't see it in Copernicus nor can I find a thread regarding it.

In UTM v9 it was nice and easy that while you working in a configuration area you could single click the log icon at the top right and it would open the logs in the context of the configuration area you are currently viewing.

Having to drop out of what I was configuring to navigate to the logs then back again is a little time consuming and annoying when your settings haven't been saved because of an error.

Is there a contextual log icon, if so where is it? And if there isn't, why was it removed?

    Hi Mike,

    I'm glad i'm not going bonkers and it's nice to know every once in a while that you're not completely insane!

    Another thing that's missing, searching the menu for a specific thing, i.e. proxy for the two areas that proxy are in etc. That's not as big an issue, spending half an hour deep familiarising is enough but still, it can make life simpler if you're having a bad monday morning!

    The Contextual Logging icon I feel is a genuinely staple need that you subconsciously use over and over. At least I and my forebears in our business have. Would be interesting to hear the exact reasoning.
