[ANSWERED] Not Activating

So what a nightmare this whole install process has been, makes UTM 9.3 look child's play.
Do I need to learn Rocket Science before joining the betas.

So I have 3 interfaces on my test rig which got it confused, including me. 2 On-board and 1 external (PCI)  From the GUI there is no way to tell it your WAN is DHCP.  The instructions don't tell you that.

So I logged into the server and went to Network Configuration and entered a blank IP address for the WAN and my normal LAN Gateway IP for its LAN interface.  
Hey presto I can see the internet and retrieve my email.  Great I thought, we are finally moving forward.

I then logged back into the firewall using my new LAN IP, all good
I didn't bother with the Basic setup because I am getting internet.  However when I put my activation code in it fails to register. to I need to add basic config still?  if so how, seeing as I am using dhcp

I understand this is a beta and the UI is different but why is it so hard to register your device?

Can anyone help me look into why I have internet access but can't actually use the firewall [:(]

    Is there anyway to bypass activation for the time being so I can see what each interface is doing, as, even though I understand you trying to make this part 'simple' , I think it's too simple and if anything fails, such in my case, you have no easy way to diagnose it.

    no you can't bypass the registration process to get to the next step. That has been submitted a feature request.

    I ended up having two networks active on my MAC so the (internal) port1 would pass the registration process out  my working UTM connection.

    From there I was able to setup access.
