[ANSWERED] Upgrade Path Once Out of Beta?

Hey All -

I searched but could not find an answer (perhaps it hasn't been defined yet).  

Once Copernicus is out of public beta what will be the upgrade path to a final RTM version of the software?   In other words will a fresh clean install be required or will there be some sort of elegant upgrade solution to the final version when released?

I ask because I'd prefer to get my system situated and either be able to backup the config and restore to the final version or just simply update to the final version instead of an entire clean reinstall and reconfigure.
