Is it worth starting a HCL for Copernicus during the beta? After my failed install on some AMD hardware I was wondering if we should perhaps try and list what works and what does not.
I've managed to successfully install on this system:
- MB/CPU: ASRock AD2550R/U3S3 / Atom D2550 (Onboard)
- RAM: 2x Kingston ValueRAM KVR1066D3S8S7/2G
- SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB (SATA-600)
- NIC: 2x Intel 82574L Gigabit LAN (Onboard MB)
Connected to Netgear GS108T with VLANs used.
the 82574 series intel chipsets have a kernel driver bug that can popup and cause connectivity issues. I highly recommend using the I-series Intel networking chipsets instead.
