Is it worth starting a HCL for Copernicus during the beta? After my failed install on some AMD hardware I was wondering if we should perhaps try and list what works and what does not.
first off that's an AMD board...not a fan of AMD for any purpose. For anything math intensive such as UTM/copernicus AMD is highly behind Intel in this area. If the motherboard is booting into uefi turn it off and try bios mode and then turn off things like audio and com ports(if you can).

Yeah, I went AMD because the equivalent Intel board at the time only supported 2GB RAM (and AMD was/is arguably more secure with the lack of AMT).
I already have audio/serials & UEFI turned off; and the board successfully runs UTM9. It's something specific to either the new kernel or the installer for Copernicus.
