Progress so far.
1. Unable to register the VM product, so I dloaded the iso, installed on the XenServer. Registered eventually.
2. I need to install the XenServer Tools to fully monitor the VM, this is normally done via the console with root access to the shell.
3. Accessing the shell, the following problem's occur
mkdir /mnt will not work, its an RO file system.
mkdir /tmp/mnt works
no /dev/cdrom device, or any other apparent device, are the drivers installed
Questions.
1. Does the VM provided have the XenTools installed?
2. The provided VM has three interfaces, for what reason?
3. The installed ISO version Lan Speed reports 100mbs, the UTM9 reports 1000mbs. The LAN is indeed 1000mbs.
4. Am I wasting my time trying to get the VM working?, or should I just go with an ISO and no fully configured VM monitoring?
