[ANSWERED] Wifi SSID not advertised opr

I missed accepting the AP10, why because the only obvious place to see this is the dashboard. Part of the AP configuration now comes under assets. 3 different menus to configure an AP.
Yes, I understand some of the logic behind the new groupings, but they aren't intuitive, but convoluted. My opinion anyway.

AP10 Power light flashes a lot, the LAN light flashes occasionally and the Wireless light is locked on solid and no SSID advertised.

Thanks for the feedback and follow-up. we've been listening carefully to the feedback about menus and such, and we have some plans to change decided, and others under review. I'll post a new thread with more details once we have the big pieces decided. Wireless is one of the parts we're paying particular attention to.

also, is there anything in your wireless logs after you connect the AP?

there is good news and i have no idea what I did to make it work. 30 minutes after I wrote the details in this thread, the AP started to work.

Logs, I have not been able to find much in the way of logs and the entries I did find weren't very helpful. On my system there is not a wireless/wifi log.

I'm also having trouble getting Copernicus to recognize the Access Points. They have a DHCP IP Address, however, they never show up in Objects / Assets / Access Points [:S]

I've restarted the device a few times, reset the Access Points, etc. No luck yet.

Hey Kyle,

Check that wireless is enabled under system services > wireless, and that the zone your aps are connected to is allowed. We'll enable this by default,a well as some other wireless improvements in the next build.
