Hi, where is the documentation?

I want to test the VMware appliance but no idea about how to import into VMware.
No idea which of file to use. No idea which password i have to type.

I must know early which Operating System is the base of this.

If Sophos has killed Linux as OS, i want to switch to Cisco or Checkpoint early.

    I would install the iso. That way you can tailor it to your needs. The OS is still linux. Not sure if its still SUSE or not. You can login using admin as user name and password. Once you are in shell just use password admin and option 5 (device management) sub option  3(advanced shell) will let you use the usual linux commands.

    So far I have found the software to be a lot more robust and fast compared to my old 9.xx installs. Configuration is completely different but everything firewall related is still under one place. If you give it a chance, I think you will like it.

    I am looking for documentation for kvm ,where i can get doc for installation on kvm ?

    I was trying to install Copernicus on ubuntu 14.04 as my utm 9.3 is on kvm 

    i have 8 gb ram on host with core 2 quad 
    using linux bridge (but want to use ovs 2.x  which had some issues with utm9 so stick to linux bridge ) using 2 nic with pci-passthrouth 

    can some one please help me to understand the installation process with this questions 
    1)which disk driver/disk  i should use 
    2)which network device driver i should use 
    3)what is basic way of installtion 

    if full draft is not ready some one can send me pm also to get basic installation done 

    there are some thing are very odd but i just was to get started using it ,otherwise my dear friend  will tell me this does not break process or not important so on

    I've got it working on both Hyper-V and KVM.

    For KVM i've use the 2 images from the download and added them as IDE drives.
    Added 2 RTL8139 NIC, and 4 vCPU / 6144 MB. Worked like a charm.

    In Hyper-V on Windows 10 Pro i've been struggling with Generation 1 vs 2 and vhd(x).
    Worked as a 1st gen with 2 vCPU / 6144 MB and the mounted original vhd from the download.

    EDIT, version seems to be Ubuntu

    I have it working with ESXi 6.0 as a Version 11 Virtual Machine with the following:

    • Other 2.6.x Linux (64 Bit)
    • 2 Cores
    • 4 GB Memory
    • 120 GB Thin Persistent NFS Datastore (Preliminary testing)
    • VMware Paravirtual (Preferred choice)
    • 2x VMXNET3 (to start)

    I found that in order to get the ISO to recognize and boot you have to send Control Alt Delete signals instead of a Restart VM or Restart OS signal due to the Virtual CD not powering on and mounting at boot, for what it is worth.

    VMware Tools doesn't seem to be properly installed nor working. Also, the Memory Usage that Copernicus reports is not equal to what VMware reports; could be related to VMware Tools.
