What is Project Copernicus?
Project Copernicus is the next generation of both the Sophos UTM and Cyberoam UTM products. We have combined the best technologies of both, with an innovative new UI. This is an ambitious project, and there are a substantial number of new features for anyone using either UTM product today, and there are a few features still to come.

What Won't you find (yet)
There are a few notable features that are worth mentioning in their absence. We haven't yet added support for them, but they're coming:

    dthorpe, is SIP protocol assistance really a need for you?  VOIP assistance is generally a legacy need for most customers. VOIP protocols aren't NAT aware by themselves, so firewalls started adding nat assistance for mult-port, legacy protocols such as voip and ftp, but these days, all modern voip software is NAT aware, and can be configured to work across NAT gateways. In fact, we see that it's not uncommon for VOIP providers to refuse to support setups where firewall protocol assistance features are used. They require use their products own NAT awareness features instead. So I'm curious if this is really a need for you? does your sip software have no NAT related features in it?

    Unfortunately this isn't "software", this is a Gigaset hardware device that does not work across NAT without the helper, since the provider I am using (MyNetFone) does not support STUN (which I assume is what you are alluding to with "NAT-aware"?). Unfortunately unless you are aware of some workaround, I am very much relegated to using the helper in my setup...

    I have setup many Gigaset and Voip handsets/systems.
    I don't understand the problem unless you are going across multiple nat boudaries. But SIP helper will not help you anyway as the fundamental protocol is  not Nat aware.

    I would suggest searching the other forums. As there are some excellent articles on VOIP Setup.

    ps I have no problems with  MNF.
