Unable to access online help

Hi,

ASG 8.103 - Home License.

I just installed the ASG Virtual Appliance, but for some reason the online help doesn't work. I get the following message:

Please enable JavaScript! 
You have forgotten to enable JavaScript in your Browser!

However, when I access my company's ASG installation from the same browser, the online help system works fine. So it's not a problem with my browser. Tried it also with IE9, Chrome and even from a different machine but all give the same error. Any idea what might be the cause?

    Hi Franc,

    I just took a look at my VMware installation version 8.103 and both English and German online help worked. The only obvious difference is that I don't use a home license here - however, the license should not influence the help formats.

    It might be of interest to you though that the javascript error you see has nothing to do with something being wrong with your javascript. We know this effect which normally occurs when the online help has not been linked correctly (for whatever reason).

    Did you get the error when trying to open the online help from a certain menu/tab in WebAdmin or is it an overall error?

    Hi Ana,

    it's a global error. It even shows up when I try to access the help from the logon page. Maybe it's related: when I change the language from English to German in the webadmin settings, logoff and logon again, I still get the English webadmin even when German is selected and still active according to webadmin. This happens with all languages I choose. It always shows the webinterface in English.
