Static IP address in Essential Edition

It should be... just configure the NIC as "Standard Ethernet" or add an "additional IP address" to a NIC.

Hi Barry, sorry, it may be my lack of Astaro knowledge, but I'm looking to give laptops, game consoles etc fixed ip addresses, like binding the MAC to a specific IP.

Hi, that would be done through the DHCP server, static mappings.

I'm not sure if that exists in the Essential Edition.

Bit of both really, I'm using the essential version at home because I have more than 50 internal IPs, and I also use it in work helping students experience firewall software.
