Virtual ASG... It's working, but so slooooow :-(

Hi, I installed a new virtual appliance of ASG with base functionality license.
I like a lot the astaro concept!

I'm trying to publish a webserver. I created a NAT rule to create a port forwarding of the port 80 (HTTP) to my web server. It's working... but amazingly slowly!
I made some tests, and I get anly 10KB/s [:O] , with a single connected user.
The virtual appliance has 4 CPU and reserved CPU power... I think I could handle much more than that ! 

What could be the problem then??? [:(]

    Hello. Duplex settings or MTU may be a issue too, but I wouldn't expect such crappy throughput by a misconfiguration of these two params. 

    Did you install the ASG software version on virtualization host, or do you use the downloadable VMs? Usage of sw version is recommended, because preinstalled virtual appliances are not using smp kernel and use single CPU.

    Configured Hardware of your VM? I would recommend to use theintel e1000 NICs instead of vmxnet.

    Does your ISP  / Routers etc. Support tcp window scaling? If not, maybe disabling this feature in V8 may help...

    Did you activate some of the flooding attack features? Maybe the limits are too low.

    Are you using QoS? Are the interface speeds set correctly?

    Has the VM enough Memory? 1Gig recommended, for Essential Version 512MB should be sufficient too...

    If you aren't using VMWare/ESXi as virtualization system, ASG 8.2 is required to support these better (as HyperV, XEN etc.)
