There isn't any difference between using an AP30 on a licensed Astaro or Home license. Any limits are based on the power of the hardware you have Astaro installed on as well as network saturation. For max users, see the pdf I linked earlier: http://www.astaro.com/sites/default/files/Resources/datasheets/astaro-wireless-security-us.pdf . Max throughput on an AP30 is 300 Mbps. I'm not finding any published info on range, but you should be able to get close to the max based on the standard used b, g, or n. See the Range portion of the article at Wi-Fi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Just want to share / assure you that you are not the only one who face the " I am willing to pay but it is so hard to buy Astaro product for home use".
I am in Singapore
1) InfoSec Pacific, their main distributor chooses not to reply.
2) Their Singapore Office, can't sell, push me back to point 1.
3) Luckily from work, I get to know a new vendor and they happen to be a reseller and it is due to relationship at work place thus now they can't refuse to sell it to me but it is obvious they are not that keen about it, IE: if you do not keep asking, it would be a drag and forget.
4) This is a vicious cycle, I just hope we can buy it on websites, live with the fact it does not come with support and it is up to us to get it working.
As for AP10 / 30, personally, I am those one time get the best.
My only problem is at home I do not have structured cabling, I am currently using Power Line Networking to connect from other rooms so for this AP, I would need to connect it to the power line networking ethernet and hopefully it comes with a power adapter.
