Inbound not working

From the tone of your post you are a home user?

The "Essentials" is for business to use prior to purchasing additional features. The "essentials" only has baisc features and you would have configured a number of the features that are not operational in an "essentials" licence.

If you are a home user, go back to myastaro page and apply for a home user licence, then you will get most of the features, but with warnings about the licence being restricted to home users only.

Doesn't that depend on how the packet filter was setup and if the http proxy was enabled?
If the PF was setup to block most stuff then it won't work.

Would it take more than 15mins for the license to apply?

actually yes. If you already have sessions running they are not blocked until you stop them and try to restart or create a new one.

That is why the time based rules don't always seem to work. Yes, I have logged this during the various betas. 

Under v6 the time functions used to cut connections at the scheduled times, but under v7 and v8 this doesn't happen, especially with streaming media.

This was setup for business use. I did not have any features in use other than Nat and the packet filter.  Should that have stopped working after applying the license?

Simple answer no.

Please provide some screenshots of your packet filter rules, network configuration and the MASQ rule.

One other thing, did you restart the ASG after you applied the licence? Try that first and see what happens.

I have the exact same problem only I added a paid license Nat Sec 25. Internet went dead immediately and HttpS is grayed out. Reboot did not help. Internal network> http(s)> "any" no dice. Was working before license was applied. Idea?

When you look at the packet filter live log what do you see when you try surfing or other types of access?

Are you able to access any sites outside of your local network?
