Trouble connecting to VM of Essential Firewall

I downloaded the VMWare image of Essential Firewall, and tried to get it running on VMWare Server 3 running on 64 bit Windows 7.  The VM loads just fine.  I can log into the shell.  I cannot access the web admin page.
I have confirmed that the Essentials Firewall has the IP address of 192.168.0.1 and I changed VMnet8 to 192.168.0.2/24.  I have tried loading web admin from IE on my laptop, and from firefox on an Ubuntu VM.  Both just timeout.
I tried on a different Windows 7 laptop with VM Player 3.  I have the same issue.  I must be doing something wrong, but I am following the readme.pdf fairly closely, and the instuctions are so straight forward that I find it hard to imagine that I am missing anything.

Seems normal to me as all interfaces on the VM are anyway virtual, so you could assign one or more to one physical interface splitting the traffic via VLAN based on dot1q trunks.

Hi,

ich have download the newest VM-Player 3.0.1 and started the newest Astaro 7.502 on Win7 x64.
Then I changed VMnet8 to 192.168.0.2 and VMnet1 to 192.168.0.1 but the Routers Webinterface is not availible on http://192.168.0.1:4444, how written in the PDF...

Any ideas?

Well, you have to decide whether you want to connect via VMnet1 or VMnet8, you can´t have BOTH networks in the same range. Using VMnet1 is probably wrong, so please change it. [BTW, There is nothing written about VMnet1 in the PDF]

Well, you have to decide whether you want to connect via VMnet1 or VMnet8, you can´t have BOTH networks in the same range. Using VMnet1 is probably wrong, so please change it. [BTW, There is nothing written about VMnet1 in the PDF]
