[ANSWERED] Activation of Copernicus

Hi,

I've got a problem with the activation of the utm in a vmware environment.
I already had activated the utm but because of a wrong configuration I had to delete this virtual machine. [:$]
So I tried to reinstall the virtual machine but I cannot activate it again.

While trying to activiate I'm getting the following error:
Device could not be activated. Please try again.

In my sophos accound I can see the utm with the enrollment date from yesterday.
I hope you can help me. [;)]

    Hi,

    For the Beta, the quickest route to solve your problem is to register again to get a new serial number, then use the new one to activate and register your new VM install.

    Explanation in case you are interested ...

    Copernicus has a licensing system that has strong copy protection built in. The serial number is the identifier for an appliance (virtual or hardware) and the license is attached to the serial number. Once you have successfully activated or registered your appliance you cannot use that serial number again in a different VM (unless you clone the original instance - we have a separate copy protection mechanism that permits this as long as the original instance is subsequently shut down).
