[ANSWERED] Firmware update

Hello Guys.

Yesterday I realized there was a firmware update do apply in my Copernicus.

So I applied it. But after the reboot, when I access the web interface, I get a message to activate the appliance. Then I access Copernicus via shell and tried to run the command "SF01V_SO01_SFOS 15.01.0 Beta-P# opcode lic_dummy -ds nosync" like I did in my first install, but this command results in a error (500 opcode not found).

Does anybody else did the firmware update? Does anybody knows  how can I activate the appliance?

    Hi all,

    I have got only enclosed screen. Without the possibility to connect to the previous configuration. Does any one know how can I connect into previos configuration? 

    I think it is definitely not a good idea to run the firmware update ....

    Hey Alda.

    I think you can rollback to previous version by rebooting the appliance, and during the boot loader, you can press  and then choose the firmware version you want.

    It worked for me.

    you are right it works but I still only get the Device Management page with Activate Appliance or Basic  Setup, nothing else. 

    Original command ( opcode lic_dummy -ds nosync ) requires an appliance  restart but again with the same result.

    How did you get your original configuration?

    Hi Alda.

    This is what I did:

    -Reboot the appliance, choosing the previous firmware;
    -Access Copernicus shell (in previous firmware version) and ran "opcode lic_dummy -ds nosync". The result that I got was: "200 OK
    Licenseing Applied. Please Reboot to have an effect";
    -I didn't reboot the appliance, just access the Web interface. Then I was able to enter in the configuration interface again.

    After you ran the opcode command and reboot the appliance, did you remember to choose the previous firmware version again?

    As I saw, the opcode command is not working in the new firmware version. Lets wait for new instructions from Copernicus dev team.
