UTM Auto Scaling in AWS

I'm trying to find information about auto scaling EC2 instances of UTM, as described in this post: https://blogs.sophos.com/2013/11/14/sophos-utm-in-aws-the-worlds-first-elastic-firewall/
Did this capability ever come to be?

    A few questions:
    [LIST=1]Is this officially released now?
    • During CloudFormation, an AMI is requested.  Is the one indicated in the KB, https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/122202.aspx, correct or is the one offered by the CloudFormation process correct as the latest BYOL AMI?
    • Can I specify the size of the S3 storage?
    • Is a VPC necessary to run in HA?  Or, is that setup automatically if I leave the network parameters blank?
    • Is this automatically an m3.medium instance?
