I installed my first AP10 and was successful finding it in my ASG. I followed the instructions and went through the "initial setup" and allowed the wizard to create a wireless network "AstaroGuest" ...WPA2 ...Network interface ...DHCP Server ...NAT ...Packetfiltering. It looked like all of these items were created and wanted to test with a wireless client. I could see the available wireless network "AstaroGuest" and tried to connect. It prompted me for a security key ...which I put in ...and then clicked connect. It would try to connect ...but was unsuccessful. I had a previous rule setup in DHCP (static mapping) for the MAC address of this laptop. I had to delete the static mapping before it would completely connect. Also, once it would connect ...I did not have a default gateway or any DNS servers. I had to go into the newly created DHCP server and add a default gateway ...and a DNS entry. Once I did this ...the laptop could get out to the web.
This was not listed on any instruction sheet. They may either want to add this last step ...otherwise you think it is completely configured ...but it was not.
