connet AP to Astaro which isn´t the default GW

Hi, i d like to test the Astaro AP in our internal LAN. Therefore i ve installed a VMWare of 7.506 - but as it´s not the default gateway nor on the default route the AP´s dont "find" my Astaro. Can i set a Route on my Firewall (from Juniper ;-()

as somebody else mentioned - i ve created a static route for the ip 1.2.3.4 to my ASG and added the ip to the lan interface.
I can see the ap in my dhcp log (ssh access is possible) - but still somehow they don´t connect yet?!
