Error after config Change

Hi,

i discovered an error after adding a new SSID. I was not able to see the Dashboard anymore, some other menupoints like packetfilter where available, but i was not able to see the dashboard.

A relogin doesnt help. I have to reboot the firewall to see the other menupoints again.
I reinstalled the firewall and recovered a backup, but same behavior again if i change or add a new wireless Network.

Hello,
I've got a similar failure. I've changed the IP of my wlan0-Interface and the APs going "Inactive". I tried to reboot the APs more then once but nothing changed. They're still "Inactive". I can't reboot the ASG now. Will schedule it for tonight.

Before you reboot, can you do an "ifconfig -a" on the command line and post the output?

hi andreas,
strange thing...5 min after deleting the APs and another reboot of them they appear as "Pending". I accept them and after that the working again. do you still want more text (logs)? [:)]

This issue with the dashboard has just affected me. I have had to reboot my firewall after removing an SSID.

strange thing...5 min after deleting the APs and another reboot of them they appear as "Pending". I accept them and after that the working again. do you still want more text (logs)? [[:)]]

Maybe there were some DHCP hickups or whatever .. if it works now that's fine for me. [[:)]]

if you have the time, can you try to reproduce it? What symptoms do you have, what does "ifconfig -a" show?

that's right. after i've changed the IP address of wlan 1 i don't change the range of the dhcp-server.

@red-man
in my case dashboard become very slow, but all items are there.

Hi Andreas,
today I changed the IPs of two wlan-interfaces. DHCP is correct! After that the APs restart, but they're changing there state from "Inactive" to "Active" and to "Inactive" to "Active" ... aso. In this time my WebAdmin isn't really accessible. Very slow and some actions timeout (request abort or another 30sec). So I disconnect the APs and my WebAdmin is right now okay.

That's the same behaviour like yesterday.
