I have setup ASC 9 to connect to our office ASG gateway as per the manual using IPSEC and shared key method. I can connect, and ssh into internal ip servers as well as ping all internal ip's. The problem is I can't access http://192.168.43.251 (internal ip over the vpn) in my browser but I can ping it. It's the same for other server that I can ssh into but not connect to web services on port 80. It seems that ASC is blocking some traffic from outgoing even tho the firewall on the local connection and in the client are disabled. Did I miss a special configuration?
Hi steven, did you configure packet filter rules to allow the client access to the internet?
You can do this by either enabling the checkbox 'Automatic packet filter rules' in Remote Access > IPsec, than every ipsec user has full access to the configured Local Networks.
Or you can create a custom packetfilter rule: Source: steven (User Network) Service: Any Destionation: Important Server Action: Allow
