[8.281][NOTABUG][CLOSED] DNS to external IPv6 not working

Hi,

I tried to estabish a IPv6 reverse lookup, from external to my internal DNS Server.

So I am using Any IPv4 and Any IPv6 in my DNS Service Setup on the ASG.

I am able to reach the IPv4 DNS on the Astaro, but the IPv6 DNS is not answering. From Internal everything is working fine.

I am running a SixXS IPv6 Tunnel.

Can't reproduce this here. You are sure nobody is dropping the packets in between?

Can you see the DNS requests if you run tcpdump on the aiccu interface?
Anything in packetfitler.log?

Hi,

I see the packets in the tcpdump on aiccu.
No entries in the packetfilter log.
(I crosschecked it: when disableing anyV4V6 in DNS Service the packets are dropped)

But you must try it from extern. When you try it from the same subnet, when you are behind the asg it is working.

Maybe your IPv6 routing is broken?

What do you get if you enter "ip -6 route get XX::YY" on the ASG, where xx:yy is your
remote IPv6 address sending the DNS requests.

Routing works fine. Traces and pings are working.

??? Now It is working. ??? Don't no why (There is one DNS Server in beetween, which is not working correct.)
