[8.281][NOTABUG][CLOSED] HTML shown when trying webadmin without ssl

If you go to the admin page ip-address:4444, but do not correctly put the https in  the error page shows the text of the HTML instead of the error page. 

So this is when I see displayed on the web page:



400 Bad Request

Bad Request


Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.

Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please.

Hint: https://webadmin:4444/


Additionally, a 403 Forbidden
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    OK, this may be helpful. I have found that if I save the page to disk and open it with firefox it works. The difference is not the quirks mode but the content type.  When I open it it sees it as text/html instead of how it sees it on the website as text/plain. 

     I also noticed that when I right clicked, save page as..., on the page it lacked the .html extension (it had no extension) but normally when you right click, save page as.. it has a .html or similar extension.
