[8.281][BUG][OPEN] Wireless Security -Wireless Client List

Hi,

I've one AP with three ssids, two are standard separated zones with direct internet access. The other is a private bridges to the lan interface. The private one gets an ip address from an dhcp server in the private network. But in the web frontend the shown client ip address is wrong.

It still shows the old ip from the guest wlan or even a total different ip address. In the first screen shot i was connected to the guest wlan, witch has the ip range 192.168.2.0/24 and the private net has 192.168.0.0/24.

In the second screen shot i was connected to the other test wlan (range 192.168.55.0/24, dhcp on asg) an the client got the ip address 192.168.55.1. But the web frontend tells 192.168.1.116. This ip address is from a total different interface on the ASG. The dhcp server for this interface is also running on the ASG.

One issue is of course that the ASG doesn't know the IP address of your client when using the internal Bridge-to-LAN network. Why it shows a completely different IP address is not obvious to me [:(]

Did this happen just once or can you reproduce it by will?

I can reproduce it. If i start to connect to the bridges ssid and then change to a seperated zone ssid, a worn ip is shown. If i connect then back to the bridges ssid the ip from the separated wlan is shown. It looks like it has a delay from one connection.

There is always a delay when updating the client information. If you wait a minute or so does the IP gets shown correctly?

Ok after some time the correct ip addres is shown if i'm connected to a non bridged SSID on an Astaro AP.

I've another AP, a Linksys, connected to a seperat interface. The dhcp server is runnung on the ASG (net 192.168.1.0/24).

If i'm connected to the bridge SSID, the wireless security list gives me the listed address from the other interface.

I think it's better to say ip address not known or say bridged, instead of given an old/wrong ip address in the list.
